Alex Marcantonio is a Managing Director at Madryn Asset Management, where he focuses on originating, structuring, and managing investments across the healthcare sector, including biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, life science tools, diagnostics, and healthcare technology and services.
Mr. Marcantonio has extensive experience investing across both public and private markets, with a background spanning private equity, private credit, hedge funds, and investment banking. His work includes leading complex financing transactions and investing as both a minority and controlling shareholder in public and private healthcare companies.
He currently serves on the board of Calibrate Health and advises several healthcare and technology companies.
Prior to joining Madryn, Mr. Marcantonio was a healthcare equity analyst at Lombard Odier and Orchard View Capital, and began his career in the healthcare investment banking group at Citigroup.
Mr. Marcantonio holds a Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University.
