James A. Reinstein

James Reinstein has more than 25 years of medical device experience and is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Conformal Medical, Inc., which develops devices to prevent stroke in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation.

Previously, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer to medical technology companies including Cutera, Inc., Saranas, Inc., and Drawbridge Health, a joint venture of GE Healthcare and GE Venture. Prior to Drawbridge, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Aptus Endosystems, Inc. where he led the sale of the company to Medtronic. James also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Cyberonics, Inc., a neuromodulation company focused on helping patients with epilepsy, depression, and chronic heart failure.

James spent 17 years at Boston Scientific in various leadership roles including business development, marketing, and general management. Most of his career at Boston Scientific was spent working and living in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
