Monteris Medical™ Inc. is a privately held medical device venture located in the technology park of the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, MB. Monteris Medical Inc. (US), a Delaware corporation, is located in Minneapolis.

Monteris was founded in 1999 upon early research by Dr. Mark Torchia, Professor of Surgery, University of Manitoba Faculty of Medicine. The technology was developed to prototype stage in the St. Boniface General Hospital Research Centre.
